Six Class Introduction to Ki Aikido

The martial art of Ki Aikido, literally translated as "harmony with Ki", combines martial art with an active, living meditation called Mind and Body Coordination. Instead of learning to fight and collide with opponents, students learn to have a positive mind, lead their partners and reach their full potential.

In this introductory program, you will learn some of the fundamentals of Ki Aikido including posture, natural movement, attacking and rolling, meditation & Ki Breathing and their applications to daily life.

All lessons translate to important tools for healthy living:

  • Maintain a positive and calm mind
  • Increase your concentration
  • Improve your ability to relax
  • Enhance relationships
  • Replenish and improve your energy levels
  • Reduce and manage stress

Lessons are broken down into approachable concepts, offering real-world applications with simple techniques and exercises to demonstrate and validate your understanding at each step. Classes are co-ed and approachable for adults of any age and fifitness level.

This program is $100. Please register in advance as class size is limited.

Introduction classes start on a regular basis. Please see our Getting Started page for dates.
